Abalta Farm was established in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic but the dream began decades before. We focus on organic practices, sustainability and community involvement. Our produce and microgreens are from organic seeds and grown with organic practices. We are currently in the process of being USDA organic certified.
Our eggs are produced by field raised chickens supplemented with organic feed. Every egg is hand gathered, hand inspected, hand washed and hand packaged. We are committed to helping our community through education, advocacy and gifting when we can. Indeed, we are grateful for being able to be the stuarts of Abalta Farms.
I’ve been involved in farming and ranching most of my life. I harvested my first stand of corn, that I planted myself when I was eight. I am a veteran, USAF and began experimenting with Aquaponics and microgreens in about 2004. My passion for the land and growing thing has only increased through the year and I will be honored to grow fresh food for you and your family.
